An intumescent, water-based putty. Stays permanently flexible internally and resists moisture once sealed. Once face has sealed it is unaffected by moisture.
Features
- Ideal for filling round metal pipes and cables where they penetrate a range of substrates
- If using round glass in steel frame the putty must be painted over to seal surface
- For round plastic pipes the opening around the pipe must be a minimum of 50mm
- Can be used to face PVE/foam to provide additional fire protection
- Tested to BS746 Part 22 (1987), achieving integrity of 97 minutes
