Intumescent fire & smoke seals

Intumescent fire and smoke seals for use on fire doors and assemblies.

Manufactured from a graphite based intumescent material that is contained within a PVC sleeve, they can be fitted into a rebate to either the door leaf or the frame of the door. In the event of a fire, at approximately 200°C, the seal expands (intumesces) to many times its original volume and seals the gap around the door to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gasses. Supplied with a self adhesive backing tape as standard to facilitate quick and easy fitting.
