Malleable iron padbar with a hardened steel staple, both of which are large and strong enough to resist force attack. Both staple and padbar flaps are secured with high tensile clutch head screws fixed through heavy-duty steel thrust plates to resist unauthorised removal. The staple can be fitted horizontally to accommodate the Hercules (1K57) padlock or vertically to fit conventional close shackle padlocks.
