Poole Waite & Co Ltd are the only company specialising in the remanufacturing of the Traditional Briton “B” and “C” T-shaped door closers (Patent 621457/47).

We also have large stocks of brand new models in all finishes and fixing applications. Our in house engineering department can repair and service customer-owned door closers if required.

These were originally manufactured by William Newman and Sons Ltd, Hospital Street, Birmingham during the 1930s, and are still used extensively throughout National Trust properties, period offices, theatre and film sets.

No.2 Bracket application for Briton B and C, for use with regular closers. Closer is fixed to underside of transom by means of arm bracket on push (opposite to hinge) side of door.
