102 x 76mm ball bearing hinges. Suitable for medium to heavy duty application. Suitable for FD30, FD60, FD90 and FD120 timber doors, and FD240 steel doors, up to 120kg weight.
Intumescent Hinge Pads must be used for full compliance to BS EN 1634 & BS EN 1935. Sold in packs of 6 (enough for 3 hinges 1½ pairs).
Our monoammonium phosphate-based intumescent hinge pads ensure virtually no compression when fitted, unlike the cheaper, more malleable graphite-based pad that is easily compressed, allowing screws and fixings to work loose. When subjected to heat, the monoammonium phosphate-based pad expands at a lesser heat range than the malleable graphite-based one, thus preventing toxic fumes from passing sooner.
